History

The history of World Hope Academy is quite interesting. World Hope Academy was founded in 1978 as a religious institution (church), where we recognized the need for education and to educate our children with a solid moral base. Time passed and in 1985 we were actually online, under World Hope Academy Bulletin Board System (BBS). We remained online through the progress of FIDO Net, bulletin board systems, and the Internet. If you’re old enough to remember the computers from the late 80’s and early 90’s, World Hope Academy was housed in a Tandy TRS-80 computer and most programs were executed from a Commodore 64 and Commodore 128. Time passed and in 2004 World Hope Academy moved from New York to Florida and continued helping students earn their education.

Mission

World Hope Academy is a private Christian school seeking to serve enrolled students by providing affordable and quality education to students of all ages and from all locations. In addition, World Hope Academy prepares students for certifications, administers exams for college credit, and helps students enter college.
