High School Diploma? Call 786-592-2384

World Hope Academy High School Diploma

Are you  14 and over and need a high school diploma? If yes, no problem! Regardless of age or location, you can earn your high school diploma online or at home at WHA. So you need your high school diploma? It’s simple. Simply read below or call us at 786-592-2384.

How does it work?

Each student is unique and requires a different plan for success. Some students only have to take a few courses as they have already completed their credits. Some students are just missing one or two credits and some students are missing all the credits. Since we cannot address all the situations online, we urge you to call us at 786-592-2384 so that we can offer you a high school graduation plan just for you. In the end, earning your high school diploma will become a reality.

How long does it take?

Our courses can be completed up to 1 year from the date of enrollment, but you can complete our courses as fast as 1 month. We offer full high school courses, not credit by exam courses. Whether you choose our correspondence program or our online program, there is no difference in regards to tuition cost or completion time. The time to completion is dependent on how many high school credits you have, if any. The best thing to do is to call us at

786-592-2384 so that we can evaluate your particular situation.

What are the age restriction?

Age is not an issue. As long as you’re 14 and over then you can complete your high school diploma. This means that you can be 14, 30, 40, 50, 60, etc.... And still graduate with your high school diploma. We have many adults that are high school graduates and not having graduated high school is more common than you think so don’t be shy and call us today at 786-592-2384.

Is it difficult or too much work?

We know you as much as you know us so how can we know what you consider hard or too much work? This is like asking a few high school graduates if high school was hard. Will you get the same answer from all the students you ask? Of course not. So then which high school graduate is telling the truth? They all are since the students are communicating their personal experience.

Our focus is on learning and not on a quickie diploma. We do not offer credit by exam as we offer actual courses designed for you to learn. If you’re looking for a quick shortcut to your education then please visit one of the diploma mills online or in Miami. We will be happy to provide you with a few phone numbers of diploma mills. There are no shortcuts in life!

There are quizzes and one exam per unit. Some courses require additional assignments. Courses are asynchronous but supplemented with Instructor leadership and other resources. Schools and employers can request complimentary access to our courses for review.

How are your correspondence courses?

Our correspondence program uses the ACE Curriculum where each course is composed of 6 units for a 1/2 credit course or 12 units for a 1 credit course. The textbook is combined with a workbook where the student completes the assignments and proctored exam per unit. ACE Curriculum is used in over 7,000 schools and has been around for almost 40 years. There is no doubt that the courses are comprehensive and that students learn.

Is it free?

We actually receive these calls weekly where a student asks us if we’re free. At first we thought it was a joke but now we understand that some students actually think that a high school education from a private school is free. No high school education is free! Public schools are not free. Public schools are funded primarily by tax revenue paid by property owners in the county. The state and the federal government also contribute under different programs. Private schools are mostly funded from tuition. We are not free but we’re not looking to get rich from charging you for your education since we’re a nonprofit. Just like you may collect a paycheck for your work, we collect your payment for our work. Imagine you apply at a job and the owner asked you if you work for free? What would your reaction be? Exactly. We’re very affordable, call us at 786-592-2384.

Why don’t I just get a GED?

You’re free to choose your own destiny. However, choose wisely. Who recommended that you get a GED? Was it an admission salesperson at a for profit school? Did they discuss all educational options available to you? Is the GED the best option after you considered all the possible consequences of your actions? The GED receives major funding from the states and from the federal government and it’s designed for work, not higher education. The GED is not a high school diploma and it’s not a high school education. You simply prepare for an exam and you’re tested on the subjects based on your preparation. You did not earn a high school diploma by passing the GED. You may get a job but do you really want everyone to know that you did not finish high school? You may get into school but you may have a hard time with entrance exams and be forced to take remedial courses. Why? You never completed high school so how can you comprehend college level courses? Maybe you can but would you agree that high school completion gives you a better chance to understand college courses? Even some regular high school students receive remedial classes in college so imagine GED recipients. In 2009 Broward College had to place 74% of ALL incoming freshman in remedial courses! That means that 74% of all new freshman students didn’t know basic English or Math (read about it here). Placing all the typical excuses aside, like being nervous, or not being a good test taker, these numbers should scare you. Broward College is not alone as this is a nationwide problem.

Please do not confuse our GED statement and industry examples as callous since we’re not including students that really cannot study due to medical reasons or learning disability reasons. We know first hand the struggles that students with any disability, and their families, go through. Nevertheless, we’re just making the point that a student should aspire to actually learn and not just to try to cut corners.

So if a private for profit school suggested that you get your GED, were all educational options explained to you? In our case we do explain all educational options and we actually do recommend that some students get a GED instead of enrolling with us. Why? Well, some specific students are in urgent situations and require immediate action. So if a technical school recommended that you get your GED, these may be the reasons:

While you’re exploring schools ask the private for profit schools what the graduation rate, income, and placement rate is for the program you’re interested in. Ask to see it in writing. Also, ask them from the placement rate they give you to tell you how many of those are actually working in the field they studied at the school? Why ask them this? Well, most schools include all students that are working after graduation. So if you studied criminal justice and now work washing cars, then they “placed” you and they count you as a placement. Misleading you say? You betcha! Don’t believe it? Search Google with the phrase lawsuit for false placement rates, or click here.

The choice of education is yours and we would be happy to help you, at no cost, with any questions you have related to the GED, high schools, technical schools, colleges, or universities. Again, there are no shortcuts. Call us at 786-592-2384.
