Are you a real school?

We get this question from several people and the meaning is not understood by our staff. How do you define a real school? Do we have a physical location? Yes. Do we have a classroom? Yes. Do we have teachers that tutor and design all our materials? Yes. Do we have a state license? No. The state of Florida Department of Education does not license private primary and secondary schools. However, they do register the schools. We are registered with the Department of Education with registration number 4762. This can be verified by calling 800-447-1636. We have the standard Business Tax Certificate (Occupational License), Certificate of Use, and fire inspection certificate. Visitors are welcome, without appointments, M-F from 9am to 5pm.

Can I use a diploma from your school to enroll into college, join the military or gain employment?

Absolutely! Please call us with any specific questions, so we can assist you in making the best decision for your particular situation. Acceptance of degrees or credits from ANY SCHOOL is determined by the receiving organization. Check with the college or university you wish to transfer your World Hope Academy credits before you enroll.

Does World Hope Academy issue GEDs?

We do not issue a GED. While a GED has its place, we simply are a high school that issues regular high school diplomas. A GED carries a stigma that you are a drop out. Besides, only state governments manage GEDs. Don’ t take our word for it and contact, GED Administrator, Bureau of Program Planning & Development, Florida Department of Education Turlington Building, 325 West Gaines Street, Room 634, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0400, (850) 245-0449. They will be able to explain what a GED is and assure you that we do not offer GED education or examination.

There is no difference as we are a physical school offering classes and or tutoring on a daily basis.

Our courses engage students in real-life projects, requiring the use of critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply the knowledge they have acquired.
